One of the most intense and beautiful experiences of my entire trip. 3 nights / 4 days deep in the Amazon — far from mass tourism.

Located 1.5 hours by boat from Iquitos on the Rio Negro. The lodge was clean, comfortable, with mosquito net-protected bungalows and excellent fresh food.

What we experienced: exploring the Rio Negro, piranha fishing, night walks through the jungle, swinging on lianas, and unforgettable encounters with pink dolphins completely undisturbed in their natural habitat. Plus monkeys, sloths, spiders, frogs — pure nature.

The guides are English-speaking, experienced, and the sunsets on the river are simply breathtaking.

The highlight was the plant medicine — both Kambo and Ayahuasca ceremonies with authentic shamans who guide you deeply and carefully toward the plant. You never feel alone — there is a profound care and presence throughout. Real plant medicine as it should be — no show, no mass tourism.

An absolute recommendation for anyone ready to truly embrace the experience. 🌿🐬

Abbiamo contatto l’agenzia già dall’Italia e Carlos è stato super disponibile e dettagliato a spiegarci il tour dell’amazzonia (2 notti 3 giorni). Prezzo e qualità ottimi rispetto ad altre agenzie che avevamo contattato e quindi abbiamo deciso di affidarci a lui. Ci sono venuti a prendere all’aeroporto di iquitos e poi ci ha affidato una guida per tutto il tour (vi consiglio di chiedere di Billy come guida.) che nonostante la giovane età è una persona a cui piace far conoscere i suoi posti non da turisti ma da local cosa che noi abbiamo apprezzato tanto. Ci ha fatto amare l’amazzonia grazie alla passione che ha per i suoi luoghi.

This is sustainable tourism!

Boat excursions with local people, trying to spot dolphins by whistling. Respectful walks in the jungle, where monkeys, sloths, and all the other animals remain undisturbed. With a bit of luck, you can encounter many animals, even snakes and anacondas. No one disturbs them; they are all free.
You walk through the forest listening to birds singing, admiring the fauna and flora, while the guide explains and teaches you so many things. You support the local economy in an authentic way, without staged activities for tourists.

The ceremony with the sacred medicine was an intense and emotional experience. Maestro David, the shaman, and Carlos, the apprentice shaman, guided me on this journey. It was an intimate and authentic ceremony in a safe space. Ayahuasca is like a friend: you need to trust it, follow it, and let yourself be carried. The shamanic chants guided and deeply shaped this ancestral journey.

This is the kind of tourism we should all practice. These people respect both animals and guests: they treat you like friends, not customers.

A special thanks to Carlos, who organized everything with care and sensitivity; our guide Raul, kind and helpful; Luis, Kelly, and their family, who prepared delicious food and took care of us every day; shaman David; and all the members of the community who welcomed us into their land.
I can only recommend choosing them. I was skeptical at first, worried about ending up in a tourist trap, but I’m so glad I followed my instinct.

El lugar cuenta con una ubicación muy cerca a la plaza de armas de iquitos, sus tour son muy completos te pasan a buscar a la hostal y te dejan en su agencia donde es fácil la ubicación una muy buena experiencia con su full days entre la isla de los monos,la tribu yahua el fundo pedrito y el avistamientos de delfines que si alcanzamos a ver quede muy satisfecha

Una agencia de tours que te ofrece variedad de opciones de explorar iquitos y la selva peruana. Nosotros tomamos un full day a la verdadera Isla de los Monos y la pasé genial. Nos hicieron vivir la experiencia de transportarnos en Jumbo, probamos el Suri en el mercado de Nanay, nos embarcamos a visitar la Isla de los Monos, Fundo Pedrito y tribu de los Yaguas. Y la deliciosa comida típica que incluyeron al estilo buffet le puso el plus al tours.

El mejor tour que pude encontrar  Jenifer se encargó de darnos un tour de lujo pues con su alegría nos sacó muchas sonrisas , fue muy clara para darnos a conocer las curiosidades de la selva , además de eso en la isla de los monos el otro guía reflejaba el amor por los animales . I did the two day trip (one night) in the jungle with Sarai. The activities were really fun and it was well organised. Sarai was a great guide!

Don’t forget plenty of mosquito spray 😅
